Had a beautiful evening painting last night-sure happy we didn't have the rain that's falling this morning! Rachel's garden was the first thing to greet us as we walked into the property to find a spot to paint. When my eyes spotted the contrast between the poppies and the white irises, had to sit and paint them and not just take pictures with my camera. Later, walked to the pond and sat down to paint there(that was the original plan!), Catherine pointed out a picture perfect "yellow lady slipper" along the path. At 8:30 had to pack up because it was getting dark but could have gone on for hours! Thank you Rachel!
