Yes, hello folks, it's been a while since the last entry. We have been away. Labour day weekend and week were spent near Huntsville in Arrowhead Provincial Park. There has not been as much painting as wished for because of the rainy weather. Still had a good time!
This little painting was done on the campsite. There were lot's of these logs rotting on the forest floor. While painting I heard someone shout that a bear was heading down to our campsite. It makes for a little nervous painting. Wonder if bears like acrylic paint?
Lov the brushstrokes on this, Marike, they beautifully echo the make up of bark in really life. They also have that silvery worn look that bark does. Simple but very effective, great to see!
