Tuesday afternoon we tried to get in the mind of a number of different artists. We could choose a photograph of a painting and try our hand at copying. This was my effort at imitating one of Cezanne's famous fruit paintings. It's still got a bit of work on the shadows left to do. A good exercise. Can't figure out why he did it this way, though. The whole effect is very dark.
